	Music Education > Presidio Brass Experience The Presidio Brass Experience is an excellent way to expose your students to the quality of a nationally touring brass quintet, inspiring them to promote and cultivate their own musical abilities. The Experience is a full-day residency that is comprised of a clinic and rehearsal during the day, and a full public performance in the evening. The rehearsal is for the students and Presidio Brass to practice selections that will be performed together during the evening performance. Two different bands can be featured with Presidio Brass, one at the close of the first half and the other performing as the concert’s grand finale. The students in each band can be from a number of schools and of all proficiency levels.
	The Presidio Brass Experience is for all students and all instruments! The Experience begins with a clinic during the day that includes such topics as:
		posture breathing techniques for practicing sound production musical expression background on the members of Presidio Brass

	The rehearsal is typically about 45-60 minutes long for each of your bands and is specifically for the preparation of the selections that will be performed together during the evening concert. The evening public performance by Presidio Brass is the Experience’s grand finale! It’s an exhilarating mix of music and fun, featuring popular pieces ranging from classical to jazz, latin to rock that together with a little laughter and excitement have become the hallmark of Presidio Brass. The highlight of the concert comes when your students take the stage with Presidio, playing a side-by-side performance with a professional ensemble that is sure to inspire them and bring long-lasting memories.
